Finding a campground online can be done by using a search engine like Google and searching for campground, camp sites or Holiday parks in the state or area you are interested in. Unfortunately there is not one website that will give you all the campsites available, so it may be necessary to check several websites.

Here are some links to our National Parks

TAS National Parks

Another resource for locating campgrounds or Holiday parks is using Google Maps. When you have Google Maps on the screen type in something like ’Australia campground Darwin’ swap Darwin for the state, town or area that you want to search. This will give you website links to look at to decide if any suit you. Make a list of any that interest you or add them to your ‘favourites’ list so you can find them again easily.

Camping is a great fun and cheaper way to ‘Get Away’ for a weekend or longer. Finding the right campground online might take a little searching, but the reward will be a relaxing weekend or a longer holiday that is a change from your everyday life and you will see some more of Australia.
